One of my friends was lamenting on facebook about feeling like a bad parent because she didn’t let her girls go trick-or-treating this year. I’m not certain, but I believe this has to do with religious reasons. Whatever… if that’s what she wants to do with her kids, so be it.

Sometimes, it’s exhausting trying to drive my life. I have never been one to just sit back and drift. I know it’s stupid, and silly, and it wouldn’t have made any difference at all… but it’s really bugging me that he didn’t try to fight to keep me. I mean, I wasn’t even worth a phone call. How did I go from being SO amazing that I was everything he wanted “and then some” to not even worth a phone call to talk this through?
